Welcome to the kids work at KCA. We have a range of activities and events for kids to get involved in here at Kings and are very keen to help families feel at home.
Our aim at KCA is to help all those in our care to know and experience God’s love and to encourage each one to make faith in Jesus their own.
HOLIDAY CLUB 2024
SUNDAY AT KCA
Each Sunday we run 3 children's groups and 1 youth group at both services.
The start times are slightly staggered to allow for parents to get from group to group and into the service.
Tots | DIY - available any time
Minis | 9:25-10:40 & 11:10-12:25
Kids Church | 9:20-10:45 & 11:05-12:30
Youth | 10-10:45 & 11:45-12:30 (Start in service for worship)
For Children Age 0 – 3
We have a room full of activities and toys for your children to explore and play with alongside a playground they can use (if the weather is good). This group is DIY so we expect parents to stay with their child (unless another arrangement has been sorted). We'd encourage you to take this opportunity to get to know other parents while watching the service streamed live into the room.
There are refreshments provided throughout.
Each week there'll be a Tots Supervisor on hand so if you have any questions or it's your first time please do speak with them.
For Age 3 to School Year R
Our enthusiastic Mini Church team love working with our pre school and early years children. We have loads of fun on Sunday mornings playing games, singing, hearing stories and finding out about God.
At mini church we make new friends, play together and tackle a new craft each week. We also have a safe outside area we can use to give the children some time to run around.
We may be small, but we know we are fearfully and wonderfully made!
Children enter this group the following school term after they turn 3.
For School Years 1 – 6
Our energetic kids team love working with our primary school
age group. Each week we create a space where the children come to enjoy church and explore faith.
We combine our passion for Jesus with games, kids worship and stories from the Bible. Each week is packed full of fun and activities.
We start the morning with free play to give the children an opportunity to have fun and make friends. During the morning we split into groups reflecting school key stages to provide a relevant teaching time. We would love you to come and join us!
Tuesday & Wednesday
9.45am - 11.15am (term time only)
Oasis is a place to meet other parents, carers and toddlers. Come along enjoy a chat and a coffee. Your kids can play with the exciting toys and explore the slides and climbing frames in the outdoor play area.
Currently all of our groups are full please click the appropriate link below to sign up to a waiting list.
(you can sign up on each waiting list, but you can only attend one of the days)
Voluntary donation of £1.50 for one toddler and an extra 50p per child if you are bringing more children.
Our toddler group is popular so you will only be able to attend one day per week.
