We hope that our small groups, courses, family clusters and ministries provide an opportunity to do just that, helping us to, deepen relationships, learn and grow.

Small groups FAQ’s

  • A small community of Christians that meet regularly to help each other to grow in faith. This is done through prayer, learning through God’s word and supporting each other as we walk through life.

  • While each group will operate in its own unique way, each group will spend time talking, reflecting and learning from God’s word and praying together. We hope small groups will be deep joyful places of laughter and trust.

  • Small groups provide a unique opportunity to walk closely with other Christians as you go deeper with God. We hope that if you join a small group you’ll find friendship with others at KCA, grow deeper with God and dream for what Jesus is doing in our world.

  • Just as gathering on Sundays or serving in a team are important, we believe everyone can benefit greatly from being part of a group. However, joining a group is not a requirement for being part of KCA.

  • Courses focus on a specific theme of learning for anywhere between 3 weeks to a term. Courses will fall into one of three categories:

    Practical Living - Parenting, Bereavement etc.

    Theological - Unpacking our understanding of God & the Bible.

    Spiritual - Freedom in Christ, Alpha etc.

  • Family clusters are half-termly gatherings for large groups of families. We intend for these clusters to be social contact points of fellowship that can meet the specific need of getting connected even amongst busy family life.

  • Church ministries are groups that are lead by a team from KCA to provide for those in particular stages of life. E.g. Youth, Cedars.

  • Small groups operate for 10 week blocks and meet once a week for 1 ½ - 2hrs.

    Courses operate between 3-10 weeks. Usually they’ll be once a week for 1 - 2hrs

    Clusters meet once or twice a term for a walk/or family friendly activity.

    Ministries meet once a week for between 1-2hrs.

  • You can request to join any group that you can see on the groups page. Places in groups are limited though so we cannot guarantee there will always be space.

  • After you submit an application, the form will be picked up by a member of staff who will be in touch with you to try and ensure you find a group that’s just right for you.
