Welcome to Kings Church Amersham
We are a modern, friendly church with a passion for Jesus, for the people in our community and for enjoying life together!
Our Sunday meetings are relaxed, informal and relevant to modern life. We worship God together and then we give time for a talk applying the truth of the Bible to life. We hope visitors will feel welcome and comfortable and we invite you to stay at the end of the meeting for tea, coffee and chat.

Connect with us
We want to make the experience of connecting with us here at KCA as seamless as possible for newcomers, so below are 5 simple steps to getting connected at KCA.
Step 1
Visit the Welcome Area on a Sunday morning. It can be quite daunting to come to Church, with unfamiliar faces and everyone seemingly knowing each other! Rest assured that we have newcomers visiting us almost every week so you are not alone. Come along to the Welcome Area on a Sunday after each service, meet a member of the welcome team and ask any questions you have about KCA. It would be great to meet you!
Step 2
Attend an Exploring KCA Morning. Every couple of months we run an Exploring KCA morning during the Sunday morning service. The 1.5 hour session is an opportunity for you to hear more about KCA, meet members of the leadership team and ask any questions you have. Complete the Exploring KCA form here to attend the next exploring KCA morning.
Step 3
Sign up to Churchsuite. After attending an Exploring KCA morning, if you would like to receive updates and communications about Church life, you can sign up to Churchsuite, our church communication tool. Itās a great way to keep in touch with whatās on at KCA, and you can opt out of communications at any time.
Step 4
Attend a Connect Group. Our Connect Groups are small groups specifically for people who are new to KCA. As with the other Small Groups at KCA, Connect Groups are hosted in homes and run on evenings during the week and are a great way to get to know others. To find out more about Connect Groups and to attend a group, complete our Connect Group enquiry form and someone will be in touch
or
Attend the Chapter One course. Chapter 1 is a 10-week discipleship course for people new to KCA. The course runs every term and explores the rhythms of the Christian life including prayer, reading the bible and worship. It includes daily devotional reflections and the weekly group discussions provide an opportunity to learn from and encourage each other. To find out more about Chapter One complete our Chapter One enquiry form and someone will be in touch
Step 5
Join a Serving Team. We believe that serving as part of a team is an important part of being Church and is a great way to get to know other people. There are so many ways in which you can get involved as part of a team as we serve one another and grow in community here at KCA. To learn more about serving at KCA, visit www.kca.church/serving.
If you would like to speak with someone about any of these steps, please complete your details via the contact form here and someone will be in touch.

Our services usually last 1hr and 15mins. We start with 25 mins of congregational, band led worship, followed by notices and a 25 min talk. We always want to make space for prayer & ministry and often our services will end with an opportunity to respond to what the Holy Spirit is doing.
There is always time at the end of the service to hang out, grab a coffee and catch up with friends. We don't need to rush away after the service has ended.
