We understand these words of Jesus to be a call to action.

As Christians we should be compassionate, loving and offer practical help wherever we can. We try to be that and serve our local community through the services outlined here.

The Furniture Project

Our Furniture Project collects good quality furniture and household items and gives them away free of charge to recipients in the local area who are in difficult financial situations.

We are currently taking donations for the Furniture project and are also looking for people who may be willing to get invovled and help us operate this community care service. Please email or call the church office (01494 431882) - We are currently not  collecting white goods.

Restoring Homes / Clearing Gardens

Our team offers a low key house decorating and/or garden clearing service for the elderly and those with mobility or long term health problems.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

CAP Provides sound and robust advice (plus a befriending support service based here at Kings') to people with financial and major debt problems.

LifeLine Visiting

LifeLine aims to provide friendship to support isolated and potentially vulnerable olde people in their own homes.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.

Matthew 22:37-38
